Web Chirkut Submission Guidelines –
We are very much concern about the quality of the Web Chirkut Web Directory. We do not accept each & every site submitted to the Web Chirkut Web Directory until unless submission is not following the guidelines. The goal of the Web Chirkut Web Directory is to make this web directory as helpful as much possible.

To maintain the quality of the Web Chirkut Web Directory, we do have submission guidelines, which need to be followed while suggesting a site. Please go through the guidelines before you submit a site to the Web Chirkut Web Directory.

How to Start for submission – Search before you submit –
If you are having quality resources to add to any category in web chirkut web directory, first of all you have to search & check that website is already listed in the web directory. If it is already there, you not need to submit the site again.

Suggesting a site –
If your site is not listed, you can suggest a resource in the most relevant category under the top root level category. Make sure you are choosing the most appropriate child category for your website.

Not accepted -
• Clone, Mirror or duplicate Sites.
• Multiple Urls from the same domain like

---------> http://www.webchirkut.com/index.html
---------> http://www.webchirkut.com/section/
---------> http://www.webchirkut.com/section.html
• Redirected sites to another domain.
• Porn, child pornography or other illegal material that infringes any intellectual property right
• Under construction
• Non English Sites.
• Made for Adsense sites.
• Affiliate sites.
• Inappropriate category or unrelated categories submission.
• Commercial title or description
• Link Exchange Sites or Link farm
• Auto Generated or Software Generated Sites
• Multiple Submission by same IP (Internet Protocol) or same email Id. Limit is 2 website per day.
• HTML Tag in the description field.

How to suggest a website to the Web Chirkut -
When you have read & understood the guidelines of the web chirkut web directory, now you can choose the most relevant child category for your site. Go to the “Suggest A Site” page and then select the top level category, then 2nd level category of your website and then the other level accordingly. Once you have selected the relevant child category, write title & description of the website (Read Title & Description Guidelines).

Title & Descriptions Guidelines –
The title of the websites should describe the content of the website in brief and truthfully without any commercial words or adding keywords in the title. Description should also be non commercial without using the commercial words or keywords to promote your website. Commercial title & description submission will be rejected by the editor of the category.

To protect spam, our system accepts only two (2) website submission by same IP address or submission from the same email ID everyday. Submission exceeding daily limit will be rejected automatically by the system.  

Once you are done –
Once you have finished your website submission to the web directory, your website will be reviewed by the category editor as per the review sites schedules. If your website is following all of our submission guidelines & meeting the approval criteria, will be approved by the editor and will be published in the directory. Approval process normally takes 2 to 3 days. You will be informed by an email with the status of your submission. If your website is not approved, you can re-submit your website inclusion request to the directory after one week (7 days) of the previous submission. You can have a copy of the submitted title, description, and URL to check your approval possibilities yourself by matching them with the submission guidelines.
